Established in 2001, ATake specializes in the development and production of computer input devices, which now account for 90 percent of its business. The products in the line include wired and wireless keyboards and mice, and wireless keyboard/mouse sets.
The Taiwan-invested company produces 500,000 computer input devices a month, which are all shipped overseas. Sixty percent of exports go to OEM clients, while 30 and 10 percent are delivered under OBM and ODM terms, respectively.
The Asia-Pacific region is the major export destination, and will continue to absorb the bulk of the company’s computer input device shipments in the months ahead.
Of the $8 million sales annually in 2009, 2.5 percent is alloted to product
